My original file looks nothing like this; It's more vibrant and the colour balance is spot on. For some reason, Flickr downgraded the quality of my upload. Bad Flickr, bad. Also, I have another long-shutter photo of the pier but the pixels are too damaged even in RAW form for me to do anything about it. I guess it's quite true that a point-and-shoot can never stack up to a DSLR.
